Our campsite is situated right in the heart of the Natural Park of the Upper Sauer, part of the Luxembourgish Ardennes where dark woods, highlands and green valleys blend in with the breathtaking landscape. Therefore, the region boosts numerous natural trails for hiking and biking.
Some of these trails take off directly at the campsite, others are only 1 km away, starting in Heiderscheid.
For families with children you will find the themed trails "Cep mushroom" and "Water nymph" in the neighbouring village Eschdorf.
Hiking maps of Heiderscheid, Esch-sur-Sûre and the lake of the Upper Sauer are available at the reception desk.
The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg boosts more than 600 km of breathtaking biking trails and is a true paradise for bikers. Most trails run by old railway tracks and are far away from traffic. Most of the biking trails take off in Ettelbrück, 8 km away. All trails are tarred and are thus perfect for electric bikes and kids.
Bike rental shops can be found in Diekirch.
