Explore the wonders of the lake of the Upper-Sauer from a different perspective during an environmental-friendly solar boat tour, and learn everything you need to know about Luxembourg's biggest drinking water reservoir.
This excursion can be combined with an 8-km-long hiking trail on the left shore of the lake (the amphibian tour).

The remains of Bourscheid castle can be found on a 150-metre-high plateau, overlooking the Sûre.
After renovating Stolzembourg house and the housekeeper's stay, the castle's towers now offer a breathtaking view over the Sauer valley.
The castle is lit by night and takes you back to the mysteries of its medieval past. Audio guides are available in German.
Don't waste any precious time looking for an expensive parking spot, just use the public transport available at our doorstep. You'll be in the city centre in a mere 45 minutes and only pay 4 € per traveller for a day ticket.
Luxembourg City is a melting pot of new and modern buildings and historical fortresses and castles. The city boasts a gorgeous historical centre, old battlements and bunkers, and is listed as one of UNESCO's world heritage sites.
Be sure to visit the Grand Ducal Palace, to stop by at the numerous museums or to trail down the shores of the Alzette into the downtown city.

Website Tourism Office ViandenHiking paradise Müllerthal is situated around Berdorf, Consdorf and Beaufort, and offers more than 160 km of adventurous hiking trails in rocky and mysterious surroundings, with sand-rock formations standing for rebellious and wild nature. From a little and cosy walk at the "Schiessentümpel" falls to challenging hikes for adventure-lovers: Müllerthal has got it all!
Be sure to visit Beaufort and Larochette castle while you are in the neighbourhood. We also recommend one of Luxembourg's oldest villages: Echternach boasts narrow streets, captivating remains of its old city walls, a medieval market place and a gothic town house.

Explore the Sûre from a different perspective and embark on a canoeing trip somewhere between Wallendorf and Dillingen. The Sûre forms the natural border between Luxembourg and Germany and discreetly flows through a landscape of both rocky hills and green valleys.
